End of Lesson Post

In today's lesson we printed our pictures we all got together and agreed we liked and wanted to be in our cut-out animation, as we printed them separate we had to cut the pictures out and place them together. 

next time because we've cut out our pictures we're ready to animate them, we had no time this lesson once we'd finished cutting our pictures out so next lesson (thursday) we will start our cut out animation!

in today's lesson i have learnt how much work, concentration and how much energy it takes to make and create a cut out animation.

The stage me & my group are at, we've just printed off all our pictures we need to cut out, we started to cut our pictures out so we can shape them into what we wanted it too look like, we've printed off a giraffe, tree, background, & burgers. 

We should be finished and ready to film next week but we will be all ready to film by the end of the lesson unfortunately we won't have enough time to film this lesson so we've planned to film it all next lesson! 

Cutout Animation

Cutout Animation.

Cutout animation is a form of animation using paper or other cutouts forming the shape of characters that are then animated in a top down fashion,
A very popular show uses this style of animation called South Park. 

South Park was originally going to be just made for a christmas card but proved popular to a audience they made it as a cut out animation until 1992 when it became a animation due to how long the cutout animation took to make. 

We decided to make a silhouette giraffe eating a cheeseburger from a tree. we wanted to make this happen because we thought it would make a interesting story + we also thought it would make a very funny video. We're making the world the giraffe's in inordinary.

My Clay Animation!

To complete this animation i had to create a figurine of a clamation. I created a blue smurf looking creature. I used a webcam camera and to stop and take pictures and eventually make it into a movie video.
