Stop Motion Animation Questions..

What is your own personal response to the animation you have been produced?
I think the final version of my video is very well made, it's creative and well-edited, it meets the requirements of the brief as it last 30 seconds long. Personally i think i did really well in the producing and editing the scenes are entertaining so yeah, i think my animation is really good & judging from the feedback i received from my peers they seemed to really like it, maybe even loved my piece of work, as i did making it, I'm really proud of this piece of work!

What is your response to the feedback of your peers?
All my feedback from my peers was really positive they seemed to really enjoyed my piece of work. There was no negative feedback they did mention what i could do better if i was remaking it. but there was no major negatives.

Based on this level of response, how could you have improved your production?
I think i should of worked on the colour correction whilst editing as some of the scenes in my video went from light to dark un-intentionally of course. Also i should of made sure you couldn't see my shadow or hand in certain shots.

Will you make these improvements based on your peer response?
Definitely. If i remake the video i will definitely keep all the mistakes  pointed out by my peers under-wraps. + i wont edit the colours in editing as it didn't get a positive response the first time.

Lip Sync Video.

Today we were asked to do a lip sync video, we had to cut out different mouths out of a image and make it look like it was saying 'Elephant' using iStop Motion and garageband. We had to fill out a dope sheet to make sure we got the timing right.

Finished Video!

The long anticipated wait is OVERRRRR, Here it is!

This is  my finished edited and cut animation i have been talking about in the last few blog posts, I finished my animation earlier than everyone else because i had a solid idea right from the beginning. i begin working on my research for my animation right away. i knew i wanted to do jaws because i love the film and i thought of a good twist idea that is similar to the movie but not quite the same. Once i had drew my storyboards i found the cut-out pictures i wanted to use for my cutout animation obviously, i saved them & resized them using photoshop. i then printed my images out then cut them out so i had all individual pictures. Once i had printed and cut all my images out i went online to find sound clips & the movie theme tune then i was ready to film i kept track of where i was up to by updating my blog every week just to show where i was, i made sure i print screened everything i was doing. When i was ready to film i borrowed a webcam from the college and filmed everything. once i had filmed i uploaded a soundless-unedited version of my video to my blog, i then added my video to iMovie and added titles & credits i then re-saved my video and then added the new version to garageband. i added sound clips i downloaded from the internet + the jaws theme tune over the entire video. once i had done this i was finished i added the finished version to my blog (above) but continued to update my blog!

Part 2 (07/03/2012)

I have now finished adding my titles and credit's to my edited movie, I now have to add my project to a program called 'Garage Band' I'm going to use garage band to add in all the sound effects & theme songs i've downloaded from the internet to make my movie more interesting. I have a few screenshots to show you where i am at..

This is the first caption i added to my project, The Main title. I was originally going to use the official Jaws font but i decided the font i picked (above, Chalked) looked better it looks like the edges have been chewed at thus created a shark vibe.

I darkened all my underwater clips using the after effects on iMovie, i did this because the underwater scene was too bright i wanted it to be darker as it is under the ocean.

The end credits i added where obviously the names (mostly mine, i added the original theme tune owner John Williams name because i didn't create the theme tune, So i credited him)

Because i had time in the lesson, i added my video to garage band once in garage band i added the sound clips i downloaded and the song to it. my video was basically finished

This is my work when i was adding the sound clips on the parts i wanted them to appear in my video.

This is a quick snapshot of me previewing my video once all the soundclips and titles where in place, i was happy with how it looked so i saved my finished movie.

where im at 07/03/2013

In today's lesson i'm in the post production stage, As i mentioned in my previous update i was finished filming my 30 second video and i uploaded a un-edited version of my finished product. Today i'm going to add my video to iMovie and add sound & music!
